Sakis and I went for a three day trip in Salonica. We're staying in Phillipion hotel, a very cosy and quiet hotel, very clean and away of the center of the town. It's located in the "Seix Sou" forest in the north. It's quiet cheap compared to the services that provides. It has also a mini bus that transfers you in town. The weather here is very cold and it's snowing a little. I feel winter at last. The temperature gets -1 or -2. Today we are having lunch with some friends, who live here and get around town for shopping. I saw a Buddha statue somewhere yesterday and i want to buy it. i'll by some local sweets and wine perhaps. And presents for friends and family.
...ohh gush this very moment that i'm writing this lines a company of people next to us are discussing about cancer issues. It's very easy to listen to them because they talk loud. I don't to hear. They talk about percentages of death as if they are sales' percentages. I want to yell at them "come on people, show some respect, some sensitivity to human pain and destiny".They are either doctors or pharmacists, I can tell from their image and attitude. They ruin my mood. I'll have to change a seat immediately.
